Brocco-lovely

Broccoli was on the menu last night...usually among my most hated of green things.

20 minutes in la cuisine and au contraire!! More than pleased with this chic veggie dish, I am left craving brocc.

Zesty, lemony, lovely. Paired it with a (moderately portioned) chicken meal and apple crisp.

Well rounded. One step further on my quest as to: Why French Women Don't Get Fat.

The J.K. Place Capri is the absolute picture of nautical, breezy, chic-and-sweet paradise. It appears to be a palace, cleverly disguised as a hotel.

Of course the Isle of Capri is the jet set destination for all those luxurious. It's a short 2 days until Vendredi...shall we???

I tried my hand at the camera again this weekend on a trip down south. The house where I stayed (for a far-too-short, 1 night) is the picture of perfection. Shabby paradise and beachy chic-ness.

Dream worthy view. Could you get used to it? I know that's right.

I had my first Indian dining experience last night. It did not disappoint. New and uber chic restaurant Lehja was a dimly-lit sparkle paradise. Jewels hanging from the ceiling and deep dark colors make tummies rumble! Reasonable, delicious, extensive wine list...what's not to like?

Be sure to give Lehja (and its delicious naan a try).

Mes amis, today is the French July 4th..."Le quatorze juillet". If you also dream of the cafe lounging, day napping, wine and bread eating lifestyle of les francaises...celebrate today! Vive la France!

What am I doing? Joining a fellow co-worker for a wine infused Bistro Bouchon lunch. Why not?! Wednesday only comes once a week of course.
