It's a dark and dreary one today.  It may still be the heat of summer, but rainy days make me want to curl up with a beach read in the comfiest of rooms dans tout le monde!

Nothing is more soothing-chic than shades of blue that can cheer you up and help you calm down and doze...zzzzz.

Love dark/light blue combinations and blue stripes.  Swoon.  You can't go wrong!

Tuesdays Would Be Alot Better If...

....I had a sunburst mirror to come home to.  Belle Maison inspired me yesterday with a collection of fabulous sunburst mirrors.

Traditional and modern.  Tres chic and never out of style.  Looks great above a bed and adds instant design credibility.

Chandeliers add the most elegant and instant-chic look to any space.

A creative light fixture can be especially effective when put where it's least expected. Kitchen, bedroom, porch....I could go on forever.
