Tuesdays Would Be Alot Better If...

....I could spend them in one of these beautiful places!

Ooh la-blah.  I am on a quest for the best vacation location.  Desperately seeking a relaxing sun filled labor day weekend!  Capri, Cannes, Paris, Barbados- all acceptable, but I will settle for local destinations as well.  Any ideas??

Silver-where?

Everywhere!  There is really nothing more classic, elegant, simple, and chic than silver.  From silver flatware to platters, plates, and pitchers.  Fill them with flowers and use them everyday!

I am currently in the process of hanging two new silver plates on the wall as a chic dining room addition.  Pairing silver of different sizes and patterns makes for the best shabby-chic decor!  Ooh la la!

Ooh-La-Lavender?

I have never considered myself a purple lover...especially in the home.  But, when I came across the work of Katie Ridder on Shoebox Decor... I was intrigued! 

Different shades of purple and lavender compliment these interiors amazingly.  Loving the combination colors...coral and shades of jade.  Tres chic!  Could there be room for lavender in my life?  Only time will tell!

Get Ya Back Up Off the Wall....

I am currently in the midst of a passionate love affair-- with walls.  Walls filled with a mix and mash of shapes and silhouettes is the chicest way to personalize and accessorize.

    Mirrors, frames, pictures, pillows? 

Gorge.

Tuesdays Would Be Alot Better If...

...we were in Tuscany.  Duh. 

Tuscan Tuesday?  I know mine would include some lots of wine and garlicky pasta deliciousness.  Not to mention the scenery and ooh la luxurious surroundings.

I am still obsessing over my amazing, Italian, carb-infused dinner last night.  Azzuro is one of my absolute to-die-fors...a must have.  Here is to hoping that my zachetti di pere and coconut sorbet indulgence is the short answer as to why my pantalonis are snug today.

Au Revoir Weekend....

Monday is here and we know what that means.  Two more days to get over the start of a new week and then it's two more days until the weekend returns.

This weekend was sans boredom as we hosted an ooh la la marvelous engagement celebration for a wonderful couple!

Nautical-chic.  It was flowers, wine, fun!
