Dreary Day Dressings

Gobble Gobble!  It's a week {or so} until Thanksgiving trots in and on such a dreary day, what better to think about than food, drink, and dress.  It's positively gloomy here and I am so wishing I was laying on a glamorous chaise lounge, watching the Macy's T-day parade with a tall glass of champagne.  Le sigh.  Only a week to wait.  In the meantime, I am loving Mrs. Lilien's T-Day Ensemble.  Effortlessly chic and festive fun.  Can't wait to be on mini-vacay for the holiday.  Then the real fun begins.

A Sight for Sore Eyes

Something pretty to look at on this gorgey Monday.  Such a shame working girls have to spend it inside!  Sigh.

Cheers to a fab week!

Greece is the Word

So, it's that time of year.  Night falls at 5:00pm {mis}, it's a little too cold on the way to work, and let's face it...it would be nice to be somewhere else.  There is some blah blah going on in Greece right now, but from the look of Coastal Living this month...things are looking pretty good to me!

Winter Blues

Who says that winter has to be all dark and gloomy colors.  Warm and cheery inside doesn't have to be red and gold.  Au contraire!  If it were up to me, I would have my whole house in blues, greens, and turquoise loveliness.  Come to think of it..it's almost there!  Karen Robertson has the {b}right idea.  Love her coastal chic decor.  Shades of blue mixed to make a room bright and comfy-cozy.  Tell me you couldn't kick back on that white sofa with a fire roaring.
I'm smitten.

It's a Furmal Affair

At long last...I am back.  After a brief voyage back into the world of studying {never to be attempted again}, I have rejoined the living.

It's November now and that only means two things:
1. Christmas is coming
 2. We can start wearing fur.  Rejoice!

I have taken it upon myself to build up a substantial mink collection this fall.  Fear not animal activists...they are vintage, so you cannot get too angry.  I wore my mink cape for the first time this past weekend.  So fun!  Warm, chic, luxurious.  You can imagine my glee when I opened my Harper's Bazaar this month to find a whole spread devoted to fur for the winter.

It's back ladies{and gents}...embrace it!
