Stay Merry and Bright

Le sigh.
The days following Christmas {when you're forced back into work} are truly the most dismal.  Visions of sugarplums and fireside giggles still dance in my head.  But, alas I am staring at cubicles and looking around for my missing post-it notes.

But-
I refuse to let the horrible, awful, grinchy work get in the way of my holiday cheer.  It's not over yet...we still have to celebrate the new year!
Keep up your tree and twinkle lights and have a few more cheery days and merry nights!

Dreary Day Dressings

Gobble Gobble!  It's a week {or so} until Thanksgiving trots in and on such a dreary day, what better to think about than food, drink, and dress.  It's positively gloomy here and I am so wishing I was laying on a glamorous chaise lounge, watching the Macy's T-day parade with a tall glass of champagne.  Le sigh.  Only a week to wait.  In the meantime, I am loving Mrs. Lilien's T-Day Ensemble.  Effortlessly chic and festive fun.  Can't wait to be on mini-vacay for the holiday.  Then the real fun begins.

A Sight for Sore Eyes

Something pretty to look at on this gorgey Monday.  Such a shame working girls have to spend it inside!  Sigh.

Cheers to a fab week!

Greece is the Word

So, it's that time of year.  Night falls at 5:00pm {mis}, it's a little too cold on the way to work, and let's face it...it would be nice to be somewhere else.  There is some blah blah going on in Greece right now, but from the look of Coastal Living this month...things are looking pretty good to me!

Winter Blues

Who says that winter has to be all dark and gloomy colors.  Warm and cheery inside doesn't have to be red and gold.  Au contraire!  If it were up to me, I would have my whole house in blues, greens, and turquoise loveliness.  Come to think of it..it's almost there!  Karen Robertson has the {b}right idea.  Love her coastal chic decor.  Shades of blue mixed to make a room bright and comfy-cozy.  Tell me you couldn't kick back on that white sofa with a fire roaring.
I'm smitten.

It's a Furmal Affair

At long last...I am back.  After a brief voyage back into the world of studying {never to be attempted again}, I have rejoined the living.

It's November now and that only means two things:
1. Christmas is coming
 2. We can start wearing fur.  Rejoice!

I have taken it upon myself to build up a substantial mink collection this fall.  Fear not animal activists...they are vintage, so you cannot get too angry.  I wore my mink cape for the first time this past weekend.  So fun!  Warm, chic, luxurious.  You can imagine my glee when I opened my Harper's Bazaar this month to find a whole spread devoted to fur for the winter.

It's back ladies{and gents}...embrace it!

Blue and Green with Envy...

...Over these bedrooms.  Love all the shades of turquoisey blues and greens.  And to top it off, a nice little pool out back.  What a pretty package.  I could be happy here...in one of these rooms alone!

The Gold-en Ticket

Bonjour and Bon Friday!  What a week.  Horrible humid days spent in the office lead to frizzy hair, over eating, and general depression.  Thank goodness it's over!  The humidity is gone and much to my dismay, cooler weather is coming in.  I won't complain...I have a few new outfits to try out, so it's not all bad.

In love with all things gold today.  It's not a new affair...an old standby.  A flash of gold will fancy up just about anything...from your ensemble to your living room.  Gotta give it that sparkle!
Get your gold on this weekend!

Tuesdays Would Be A Lot Better If...

....we were here.  Sigh.  With fall coming (tear), work in full swing, and no vacation in sight...of course I am drawn to all travel websites, while pining away for beaches at my computer.  Today Snique Away has the most tropical-icious getaway to Fiji.  The Lomani Island Resort looks like just the place we should be on a lazy Tuesday.  I'm all for last minute vacays...any companions?!
