Black to Basics

I am in love with Brabourne Farm's homage to the loveliness of black interiors.  I am not one to go towards dark and gloomy, but how regal do these black beauties look?  It's back black to the basics!

The mysterious and magnificent Met Gala took place last night and per Anna Wintour's demands the fashion did not disappoint.  Feathers and lace and turbans, oh my!  The chicest of chic {with only a few disasters...ahem Kristen Stewart} were out on the red carpet and dressed to impress.  My personal fashion heroes are below.  I am waiting...with baited breath...for the return of the turban.  From the looks of Karolina Kurkova {courtesy of Rachel Zoe}, we don't have much longer to wait!

Mini Vaca-bulous!

Mini vacays are the spice of life.  It's hard for me to go a month without a quick jaunt to somewhere fabby {much to my wallet's dismay}.   Old fashioned, luxurious, and with decor to drool over...The Greenbrier was one of my fave mini trips.  I am long overdue in paying an homage to my weekend turned 3 night trip to the old resort.  Take in the decor below.  Food for miles, luxury rooms, and signature drinks in the casino...you'll want to stay an extra night too!

White Hot

Warmer weather means it's time to start bringing out your whites.  White jeans, white pants, white shoes (hopefully not...bleh).  But why stop there?!  Keep up the white out in your furniture, jewels, and, if you're like me, a new all white car!

The Divine Miss H

Forget the Divine Miss M... Miss H is taking center stage. 

Singer? check.  Dancer? check (see image below.  She is an obvious natural).  Fashionista?  Of course! 

It's my sweet niece's inherent fashion sense that coaxes me to spend hours scrolling over the chicest new baby trends.  I have to keep up with her growing fashion needs (I mean she is almost 1)!  I think she is going to need the sophisticated Easter wardrobe below for playing croquet and sitting poolside.

 I hear the Easter Bunny will be hopping over one of the hottest new accessories for any girl in diapers.  Move over Blue Ivy!

Ooh la l'Easter

Le sigh.  I have abandoned you yet again.  Such a shame that pesky things like work get in the way.  That unfortunate reality aside...spring is springing!  Thank the high heavens that warm weather is here and I can start getting out buying spring essentials!  Phew. 

C'est la weekend for Easter celebrations.  I am slipping down to Charleston to indulge in all things pretty and pink.  These gorge  peony-esque flowers are the perfect pink Easter weekend dream.  Hope yours is just as pretty!
