Wednes-day dreaming...

After a 27 year search, I have found pure bliss.  It came in the form of Canyon Ranch Miami Beach, and I cannot put into words how amazing this treasure was!  Every one of you must go least five one time in your life. 

Three R's: refresh, relax, and royalty, dominated our stay.  Treated like royalty in a ginormous suite, you have little choice but to relax and spend your time getting refreshed.  From oceanfront yoga, to lobster dinners, to the best massage my back has ever known, my only complaint was leaving.  If you meditate hard enough, you might be able to picture yourself there.  Lord knows I'm trying!

Here Comes Summer...

And all those sweet and yummy summer nights.  With citronella burning and full glasses of wine, eating outside gets a whole lot better.  Sweet weekend wishes!  Sleep in and dream of fireflies and all those pretty summer dusk colors, they're almost {officially} here!

Happy Monday. Make sure your week is full of naps, wine, cheese and lingering meals at outdoor cafes. If you're lucky...it might feel just like France!

..."Oui"!... to these spring excuses for celebration. 

It all starts today with Cinco de Mayo and continues right on through the weekend.  Saturday is more than just big horses and tiny men, it's the Kentucky Derby!  Big hats, mint juleps, and {if you're lucky} a good band!  Go ahead and let your new spring wardrobe make an appearance...even if you're not celebrating anything but hump day, with a few cold glasses of bubbly on the back porch.
