Dreary Tuesday is luring me back to bed.  It's the perfect reading day.  These tufted headboards and puffy pieces are perfect for reading and relaxing.  So glam and inviting at the same time.

TGI-Friday Flowers

TGIF!  What a week it's been.  Friday, I have never been so happy to see you!!  Hope your weekend is full of sleeping late, long leisurely mornings with coffee and croissants, lots of sun time in the afternoon, and pretty flowers...like these garden roses from Ada and Darcy.  It's the unofficial "last weekend" of summer.  You can be sure I won't let a minute go to waste!

Bahama Mama

The September issue of Coastal Living shows off the most gorge remodel of a 1960's Harbour Island, Bahamas resort.  The Dunmore Resort has been revamped and restored to what I can only describe as perfect.  These photos have me swooning to take a trip down and see it for myself.  What a dream.  Cottage chic and completely beachy.  I am thinking Christmas at the Dunmore this year?!  Fingers crossed.

Fluff and Puff

There is nothing better than a comfy house.  And, what screams comfy, more than big, puffy, fluffy pillows?  Love sofas and chairs filled with bright and big ones.  They just scream...take a nap!  Sigh.  Only a few more hours chained to the desk and then it's a short nap pour moi, mes cheries.

Light Me Up!

Thank the Lord!  The power is back on and I plan on turning every lamp on when I get home tonight.  48 hours with no power can really take its toll on a girl!  Today was dry shampoo, lukewarm shower, and a drive to work with no functioning stop lights.  Another day and I would have been researching fancy hotels....Eloise style!

Here's to electricity... the small luxuries!

Dark and Stormy

Secure the riggings!  A storm is brewing out there and she's headed this way.  If this weekend is dark and dreary, I'll survive...as long as the oven and tv still work!  Wouldn't you love to be in this cozy room watching the storm come through?  I could be happy here! The only thing missing is G&G's Perfect Stormy cocktail.

Gold Rush

Holy Moly!  We're all shook up this afternoon.  Need a big glass of vino and some solid ground. 

In the meantime, I am swoonsville over all these gold accents.  Love the warm look and ultra chic vibe.  Instant classics.
